Live Music for Everyone
The Boiler Room is the first venue you see as you enter from 48 Tal Street. Most commonly known as just “Warehouse”, the Boiler Room is where locals and travellers meet to share their passion - live music.
Karaoke Night is held each Tuesday from 8pm until late and is considered the best in Windhoek. Wednesdays to Saturdays a variety of different Namibian and occasionally international musicians perform to an appreciative audience. Regular events include the house band Mashura (every second weekend of the month), AfroJazz (every last Thursday of the month) and Uptown Reggae Invasion (every third Saturday of the month).
The Boiler Room stage is where many musicians have kickstarted their careers. An ideal place to start, because the audience is not the easiest. You see, we spoil our customers by giving real talent. We audition and handpick bands carefully before we allow anyone to perform.
