After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult decision to close Umami Frozen Meals.
This has not been an easy decision to make. It has been such a privilege to cook for you and your families, and I am incredibly grateful for the support, loyalty and encouragement you have shown Umami along the way.
For now, I feel it is the right time to step away and allow for a quieter season and a little more space for the things that need my attention.
We are not closing our doors just yet! We still have a good selection of frozen meals available. We have been busy cooking this week, so our freezers are stocked and orders are still open for both delivery and collection, while stocks last.
Once a meal is sold out, however, we will not be producing anymore, so if you have your Umami favourites that you would like to stock up on, I would recommend placing your order as soon as possible. We expect some meals to sell out quite quickly.
Our shop will remain open until the last of our frozen meals have found their way into your freezers.
I know that many of you have made Umami part of your weekly or monthly routine, and I am truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment that our closure may cause.
Thank you. Thank you for every order, every kind message, every recommendation to a friend and every time you chose Umami to feed your family. Your support over these past three and a half years has meant more than you know.
Perhaps this isn't goodbye forever — who knows what the future may bring. But for now, it is time for Umami to take a rest.
