PARIS, 5 MARCH โ€” The Walk of Malaysia 2026, a 6-day 5-night tour of Malaysia from south to north stopping by historic and UNESCO areas, finalizing into a runway fashion show in Langkawi Island, had its international soft launch in Paris, officiated by H.E. Datuk Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim, Ambassador of Malaysia to Paris Puan Zalina, Director of Tourism Malaysia Paris, and Mr Sebastian Chan with his officers from MATRADE Paris
together with Amy Chiew, Founder & Creative Director of Nottingheels. The ceremony was held at Oya Fusion Restaurant from 9โ€“10pm.

Nottingheels is proudly showcasing their 4-inch bunion support Songket heels on the Paris Fashion Show runway at Hilton Hotels. Songket is a traditional Malaysian handwoven fabric, renowned for its intricate weaving technique that incorporates gold or silver threads, creating a shimmering effect. This luxurious fabric, historically reserved for royalty, embodies Malaysia's rich cultural heritage and artisanal craftsmanship, making the heels not only a fashion statement but also a celebration of Malaysian tradition.

Adding international glamour to the evening were Norwegian and Mongolian models Soba, Julia, Khristine, and Malaysian model Clara Hulme and founder of Clume.

The Walk of Malaysia also invites other visiting countries to showcase their traditional clothing, cultural arts, history, local produce, and travel packages back to their home countries. It serves as a hub for cultural and business exchange, fostering international collaboration and mutual growth.th.
