Cruz Events was honoured to be entrusted by **The Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (KLSCCCI)** to manage their recent **Golf Championship & Charity Dinner** held at the scenic Tropicana Golf & Country Resort.

Somewhere along the way, Malaysia blurred the lines.
Suddenly, everyone with fairy lights and a photo backdrop started calling themselves an “event planner.”
Let’s get this straight.

A decoration supplier is not an event strategist.
An AV supplier is not a showcaller.
A tent company is not an event agency.
And your cousin who booked the hotel ballroom for her wedding — still not an event manager.

At Cruz Events, we don’t just colour-coordinate linen and centerpieces.

Built a deck full of original ideas.
Signed NDAs. Filled up 20 pages of procurement documents.

Then… we were informed the job went to another agency.
But guess what?
Our creative visuals were used to get a cheaper quote.

We get it — business is business.
