Actually, I don’t usually recommend doing outdoor shoots in the rain.
This one was literally our last shot before the rain started.

Once it gets heavy, even with umbrellas, there’s a high chance the camera will get wet — and trust me, repairing or replacing gear isn’t cheap 😅

Shooting in the rain and getting a clean, beautiful result isn’t easy.
You’ll need proper lighting — especially from behind — to bring out the texture and details of the raindrops.

After 8 years in photography, I’ve only managed to capture two rain shots that turned out the way I wanted.
This was one of them.

It was a bright, hot day around 4PM, and out of nowhere, rain started pouring.
Placed my clients against the light, and right there — perfect timing, perfect mood.
