When their jeweller shared this line with them, it didn’t just sound nice. This is describe Kok Leong’s mind and he even quoted this poem on their vow exchange. It felt like them.

Because Sookie & Kok Leong’s love is not the perfect, no-fight kind. It’s the real kind. The noisy kind. Especially when it comes to Bou Bou

Both of them fighting for Bou Bou’s attention like kids. Maybe that’s exactly what love looks like. Not just big words and romantic moments. But small, everyday things — laughing, arguing, competing… and still choosing each other at the end of the day.

With Kok Leong, there’s warmth. The kind that makes a house feel like home.

With Sookie, there’s steadiness. The kind that makes you feel safe even when life gets uncertain.

And Bou Bou… don’t worry, still the real winner in this relationship 🐶

Janda Baik always has this calm, and kampung kinda magic. Weddings always look nice here. But Keith & Joyce’s wedding not only looked nice but… felt nice.

I have not been posting on instagram for 7 months but now let me share you something I will remember back in their wedding.

On the day of their wedding, it was SUPER hot. The kind of Malaysia sun that makes you question your life choices. All of us are sweating and the guests are fanning themselves non-stop.

But right before Joyce’s eldest brother held her hand to walk her down the aisle… something changed.

The clouds slowly moved in and the hot sun got covered. (See post 11)

Some people just see this as another sky. But to me, it felt like a blessing. It wasn’t dark nor going to rain. Just nicely shaded, creating the soft light. As if someone upstairs adjust the lighting for us hahaha and it stayed the same throughout the entire span of the holy matrimony.

Thank you Keith and Joyce for trusting me to document such a meaningful day. Well… I was still sweaty but it was worth it.

Hope you two travel more together, explore more together and grow wiser together. And most importantly, always come back to each other as home. 🥰

Gee Seng + Marion
Gee Seng and Marion experienced a wedding first look unlike any other. As the heavens opened up, they saw each other on wedding dress for the first time amidst a heavy downpour, the scene was purely magical.
Undeterred by the rain, they exchanged intimate vows, their words mingling with the rhythmic patter of raindrops. This proves that even in the stormiest of times, their bond remains unbreakable.
It was the most magical and romantic first look I shot in awhile. Ngl I was holding my tear behind the camera 🥹

My favourite photo is the 5th. Wai Wan’s daddy with his phone ready to take some photos before she leaves the house. I could feel the sense of warm connections between them thru my camera. 🥹

This is the wedding with overflowing love and support. The laughter shared with friends/family, constant hugs exchange, and the super warm and touching tea ceremony. Immortalising the laughters, tears, and heartfelt embraces is truly the joy of my work.

Thank you Jet and Wai Wan for having me. Each photo made me feel the and support of your family. Truly remarkable honor of being a photographer.
