Just sharing our experience and asking for honest opinions.
We quoted RM8,000 for a grand wedding decoration. Since there were two weddings in the same hall, both couples agreed to share the decorations and each pay RM4,000.
A few days before the wedding, the bride told us she had been cheated in a money scheme and was struggling financially. We told her to use the other couple's RM4,000 payment first to help with her wedding expenses.
On the wedding day, she told us the decorations were better than expected. Her mother also thanked us and said many relatives loved the decorations and asked for our contact.
After the wedding, we followed up for payment. She paid in stages but still has an outstanding balance. When we asked again, she suddenly claimed she was not satisfied with the decorations, accused us of overcharging, and said she wanted to post about us on social media.
My sincere question is: If you were truly unhappy with the decorations, wouldn't you have told us on the wedding day or shortly after? Why only raise the issue months later when it's time to settle the remaining payment?
We're not posting this to shame anyone. We're simply asking for fair and honest opinions.
