We heard recently that International French Fries Day is celebrated annually in July (frequently observed around July 10–13), honouring the world-famous crispy fried potato snacks 😋

Major fast-food brands and local eateries mark the occasion with special promotions, such as large-scale sharing meals or discounts. We are aware that fast-food should be eaten in moderation but our fast-food themed balloons do light up any party or special occasions ❤️🎉🥳🎶

Here in Malaysia and Singapore there are usually 6-8 types of zongs. The Hokkien, Hakka and Cantonese styles are more popular, while there are some which has local flavour added in like the Nyonya.

The main fillings are usually fatty pork, beans (various), chesnuts, salted egg yolk, then variations of other ingredients can also be added in like mushrooms, spices, condiments, etc.

A well made zong will be soft, chewy, fragrant with the umami flavour of all the ingredients melting in your mouth 😋
