As part of his "NOICE Asia Tour 2024", WIM will be performing in Malaysia on 6 November at 8PM. Sonic Stages is about a space for all to explore. It was a deliberate decision to go without a stage for the event last week as we wanted attendees to be part of the dance floor. We pivoted to something uncommon at 'UltraSuperNew Gallery'.

Imagine a site-specific theatre show concept. It is a concept where attendees are required to move around the venue & sometimes, even participate in an outdoor roving experience. The setup can be uncomfortable to some. We want attendees to be part of the performance space, up close & intimate.

We challenge the artist to perform in an unconventional setup. While it is common to have a regular setup where follow spot/parcan/intelligent lights are focusing on the artist, we will try to create an inclusive environment where everyone is under the same light. Also, the stage can be anywhere in the venue.

We support all art forms. The art in life. We hope to see you soon.

NEW VENUE ALERT!

We have changed our venue to . It is an art gallery located in Jalan Besar.

Attendees may come in early to view the artworks and even purchase them while waiting for the event to start. The ongoing exhibition is called 'Who Run The World?'.  It is a tongue-in-cheek reaction to the misconceptions of feminism... that "feminism = women taking over the world". They have invited some of Singapore's best visual artists to give the audience their feminised interpretation of their favourite pop-culture icon taking over the world (Darth Vader in stilettos, anyone?). 

Everyone attending will be allowed to mingle and take photos with our artistes before their performance.
