As we reflect on the first eight months of 2024, it’s clear that this year has been nothing short of extraordinary. From orchestrating a full-service, full-scale wedding within the shortest three-month notice to assembling our largest coordination team to date, every moment has been a testament to our growth and resilience. Among these milestones, we had the privilege of planning what we believe to be the dreamiest wedding of the year—a true highlight for our team.

This journey has filled us with a deep sense of gratitude as we celebrate eight faithful years with Story n Matter. We are immensely thankful to our wonderful clients and vendor friends who have been part of our story, helping shape us into who we are today. As we look ahead, our team is brimming with excitement, ready to embark on new adventures and continue pursuing our passion for love, weddings, and creative design.

In 2016, our journey began with a dream and a passion for becoming wedding planners. Fresh from completing a three-month wedding planning course, we decided to take a bold leap of faith. With nothing but our vision and determination, we started from the ground up, focusing on styling and design as our foundation. One of our most treasured memories from that time was our very first wedding styling project for Tony and Vivian, where we had the opportunity to bring our creative vision to life. Collaboration has always been at the heart of what we do, and our first collaboration was with for a styling project at .thai Rama V, where we fused our artistic talents to create something truly special.

The following year, 2017, marked another pivotal moment in our journey. Driven by our passion for innovative floral design, we embarked on a transformative trip to Seoul, Korea. There, we had the incredible opportunity to learn from the renowned florist, Keira Fleur Seoul . Our goal was to bring her expertise back to Malaysia, culminating in our very first floristry workshop. This was not only our first experience working overseas, but also a defining milestone that expanded our creative horizons and deepened our commitment to excellence.

2017 holds a particularly special place in our hearts as it was the year we expanded our services to include full-service wedding planning and coordination. We had the immense privilege of accompanying our clients from the initial stages of planning to the moment they said, “I do.” Through our personalized design details, we ensured their day was a true reflection of their unique love story, making their wedding day as extraordinary as the journey that led them there.

The sacred union took place in the beautiful Seputeh Glasshouse amidst a rustic atmosphere, with a neutral spread of lush pampas grass, elements that are drenched in earthy tones and texture grounded in its own reflection of innocence and purity.
