又到了这个时候。
每年这几天，好像都在提醒我——
该出发去日本了。

明年4月1日到12日，
路线定在大阪到京都，
不会排得太满，
想留出时间给巷子、光线、和临时起意的停留。

这次只open 4组名额，
不是想制造稀缺感，
而是真的希望每一组都能被好好拍到——
慢慢聊、慢慢走、慢慢按快门，
而不是赶通告一样的旅拍。

大阪的热闹、京都的安静，
刚好是两种很不一样的节奏，
很适合拍出两种不一样的你们。

如果你也想在明年春天，
留下一组不只是”好看”，
而是”很像你们”的照片，
可以来聊聊时间和细节～

It’s that time of the year again.
Every year around now, something reminds me —
it’s time to head back to Japan.

Next spring, April 1st to 12th,
the route runs from Osaka to Kyoto.
Nothing too packed —
just enough space for alleyways, good light, and spontaneous stops.

This time, only 4 spots are open.
Not to create hype,
but because I actually want to give each pair enough time —
to talk, wander, and shoot slowly,
instead of rushing through like a checklist.

Osaka’s energy, Kyoto’s quiet —
two very different rhythms,
perfect for capturing two very different sides of you.

If you’re hoping for photos next spring that aren’t just “pretty,”
but actually feel like you two —
let’s talk details.

Real talk — most places start charging the second a wedding dress appears. 😂
So I always scout ahead and find spots that won’t burn a hole in the budget.

This time though, small hiccup —
paid location, turned out not great for shooting.
Would’ve been nice to know earlier, just saying. 😅

But honestly? Still had a great time.
The weather was so good, half the work was already done for me.

Any photographer will tell you —
when the weather’s right, the shots just come to you. 😄

几乎每一年的春天，都会去一趟日本，
对于已经觉得很熟悉日本气温的我，这次完全被KO了，
当天气温真的让我印象很深~细雨飘着，体感只有8°，
一下车的瞬间就意识到不对劲了，我的外套完全不够扛这个温度。
冷是真的冷，风一吹整个人都在发抖。
两个人一边喊冷一边笑，反而觉得挺好玩的，好像冷这件事本身也变成了这次拍摄的一部分。
居然也没那么在意了。
说到底，天气这种东西真的没法控制，能控制的只有心态。
只要两个人在一起、拍得开心，那些细节其实都不算什么事儿了。
回头看这组照片，反而会想起那天的冷、那天的雨，比阳光灿烂的日子更有记忆点，挺神奇的。

日本，对我来说从来不只是一个拍摄地点。

每一次来，都像是在翻一本还没读完的书——
熟悉的城市，不同的光线，不同的人，不同的故事。
这也是为什么去了这么多年，我还是坚持要回来的原因。

这一次在京都，用 Google Map 瞎逛，
意外找到了一个完全没有游客的樱花景点。

在观光人潮已经快把京都「压垮」的现在，
能找到这样的地方，说真的有点不敢相信。

没有人群，没有人挤进你的画面，
光线落下来的方式都不一样了。

这就是我喜欢日本的原因——
你以为你已经熟悉它了，
但它总能在某个转角，再给你一个惊喜。🌸

A wedding, at its core,
is just a really good reason
to bring everyone back together.

Faces you haven’t seen in years.
Laughter that picks up right where it left off.
That familiar “you haven’t changed a bit.”

Seven years since I last shot in Cameron Highlands.
Before MCO．

Walking back onto the same grounds —
same cool breeze, same rolling tea fields —
felt oddly familiar, but somehow new.

Maybe it’s because of the two people I had with me this time.

They’re not the type to pose. They laugh easily,
talk too much (in the best way),
and completely forgot I was pointing a camera at them
about twenty minutes in.

We wandered through the plantation, chatted, made bad jokes,
and somewhere in between — Ｔｈｅｎ　～～the photos just happened.

Honestly, that’s my favourite part of this job.
