PATCHWORK OF TOMORROW｜From Papar to the Bay 🌊🌊🌊

What began at is now taking its place by the bay.

After days of cutting, folding, connecting and creating together at Ashoka's Community Art Space in Papar, we brought Patchwork of Tomorrow to Kota Kinabalu for Installation Art by the Bay at KK 2026

今天，我們把之前大家一起完成的作品，從小鎮帶到 亞庇市。

一片一片的再生塑料，
一雙一雙參與過的手，
從工作坊裡的零散拼片，
到今天在現場重新組裝，成為完整的裝置藝術。

🌿 A little recommendation from us.

Some stories have been quietly unfolding all along.

Behind 's Community Art Space,
-pelan Slow Living Lodge has slowly been finding its own shape.

It’s more than just a place to stay.

Some people arrive to travel. Some stay for a little while.
Some bring stories with them, while others leave having met people they might never have crossed paths with otherwise.

Different people arrive in Papar carrying different stories.

And for a little while, in this old shophouse,
they share a small part of life together.

Maybe that's what makes Pelan-pelan so special.

🌿 Slow down. Stay awhile. Get to know each other.

有些故事，其實一直都在慢慢發生

在 Ashoka's Community Art Space的身後，
Pelan-pelan Slow Living lodge 吧蓝巴蓝慢活青旅也正在慢慢長出屬於自己的樣子。

這裡不只是旅宿。

有人來旅行，有人短暫停留；
有人帶著故事而來，也有人在這裡認識了原本不會遇見的人

不同的人，帶著不同的故事來到吧巴小鎮

然後，在這間老店屋裡，短暫地共享一段生活
這或許就是 Pelan-pelan 最有趣的地方

慢慢來，也慢慢認識彼此

對我們來說，其實都是很珍貴的時光。

A little creativity, a little companionship, and a little warmth. 🌱

It was a privilege to be part of this special community activity. 💚
Together with the mums, we turned old T-shirts and reusable materials into handmade crafts — giving discarded materials a new purpose while creating a little space to learn, create and connect. ♻️🧵
