Thank you for trusting us Cyril's Canvas & Miri Marathon!

And that's a wrap from us at MP Media Production and Cyril's Canvas!

It was a crazy hectic two weeks getting all the photos ready and published for Miri Marathon 2025! Apologies for the time taken as they were just too many pictures to go through. We were working around the clock to get the photos processed to look the best for you!

We would like to sincerely apologize for any shortcomings on our part. We do realize that we were not able to capture some of you, some of you missed being capture at certain spots and especially thousands of apologies to the ones who we missed out totally. We are also sorry that the 21K runners are disappointed that they don't have as many vantage points as the 42K and 10K runners as they have the extra pictures at Miri City Council building and Central Park. Hopefully the organizer will consider revising the 21K route next year? Another challenge is shooting in the middle of the night with just streetlamps to assist our view. The challenge is then compounded when large swarms of runners come all at the same time. But no matter what, we always try not to miss anyone and to try to get the best angles best spots and best poses whenever possible. And above all else, we tried our utmost best to capture the atmosphere; all the emotions the smiles the sufferings the 'bonks' the drama and the relieve and incredible unbelievable beyond belief feeling when finally crossing that most important line, the finishing line. The spirit of the marathon!

And like the spirit of the marathon, if MP Media Production x Cyril's Canvas is bestowed the trust on being the official Media team for Miri Marathon 2026, we promise to come back stronger and better!
