Wedding season 2025 is officially wrapped for me —
and I’m ending it with that familiar mix of sweet exhaustion and deep, quiet pride.
This year has shaped me in ways I didn’t expect.
It taught me, stretched me, clarified what truly matters —
and today, I know exactly where Midsummer Events is headed.
I know what I will never compromise on.
Not my values.
Not the integrity of the brand.
Not the reputation we’ve built with intention, discipline, and care.
And certainly not the team that stands behind this name with their whole hearts.
My plan has never been to be one of many.
My plan is to be the one and only for the couples who recognise our vision, our depth, and our devotion to this craft.

“The Wine Down Vows” is an intimate, romantic wedding celebration set against the lush hills of Enderong Resort. Soft, cozy textiles drape the ceremony space, with subtle stained-glass accents enhancing the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The day begins with heartfelt vows and transitions into a lively dinner on the wooden terrace, where the energy builds throughout the night, with laughter, dancing, and drinks flowing as the celebration becomes more vibrant and fun.

WEDDING STYLING CONCEPT: CLOSER BY CHOICE with LUCY & CHASE ❤️

The wedding dinner will feature a vibrant design, divided into three zones: a welcoming photo area, a cocktail spot, a dining space - each with clear signage for easy navigation. The dynamic color-blocking concept incorporates rich hues inspired by South African identity, enhancing the event’s ambiance. Minimalistic floral arrangements in unique geometry vases will grace guest tables, while flowing fabric drapes on the ceiling will create an elegant overhead display. Signage throughout the venue will feature bold colors and custom elements, ensuring a cohesive and personalized experience.

FAQ: How much does a wedding cost in Malaysia?
We do not make general statements about how much a wedding should or must cost. However, we can advocate for our portfolio and experience.

Based on the weddings we have planned and executed, the average cost per guest ranges from RM1,100 to RM1,200.

This means that for a wedding with 100 guests, the estimated budget would be around RM110,000–120,000.

PS: Probably the most preliminary question for every couple starting their wedding planning!

Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I posted anything. Time flies, and we’ve dove into the first chapter of 2025, busy and excited about new wedding projects with wonderful couples becoming our clients. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m sharing some bright sneak peeks from Lucy & Chase’s couple shoot, hosted by the amazing .my team! 😍 We had fun, enjoyed sweet chats, rearranged the chiller, and even converted a pantry into an experimental lab to achieve these stunning results—a fantastic photo collection.
