Malaysia and China are deepening their cooperation in High Technical and Vocational Education and Training (High TVET) through a strategic investment exceeding RM500 million. The initiative focuses on developing industry-ready talent in emerging sectors such as electric vehicles, battery technology, robotics and advanced automotive systems.
Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, said the collaboration also includes the provision of advanced technological equipment to support learning and training purposes. It also includes knowledge exchange, provision of advanced training equipment and expanded learning opportunities for Malaysian students in partnership with leading Chinese institutions and industry players.
