Sri Yantra Drawing Course - 2 days

Dates: 25-26 March 2023
Time: 10am to 5pm (both days)
Course facilitator: Mei Yee
Course Fee: RM400 per person (see notes 1 & 2 below)

About the Course:
A Yantra is sacred geometry, which is an instrument for spiritual advancement. Sri Yantra is the oldest Yantra known, and is the form of Devi or Shakti Herself.

You will learn how to draw a Sri Yantra using geometry tools. The final painting process with colours will take place in 9 steps and in a silent meditative mood.

Sri Yantra is considered to be one of the most powerful and effective Yantras. It helps to increase concentration, sharpens the intellect and purifies it. The Sri Yantra removes negative vibrations and transforms the negative into positive energy. It is very effective for various purposes such as physical, emotional and mental healing.

You will take home a fully drawn and painted Sri Yantra on A3 paper.

Note 1:
You will need geometry tools for this course. There are 3 options for to choose for the usage of the tools.

Option 1: borrow the tools from the teacher ( I have enough sets of all the tools, except the compass). You will need to buy or bring your own compass to the class.

Option 2: ask the teacher to buy the whole set of drawing tools for you to take home (cost is about RM120 - includes 2 mechanical pencils of different thickness, one pencil eraser, one eraser pen, one long ruler 60cm, triangle ruler set, one Staedtler lockable compass, one ring ruler)

Option 3: you buy the whole drawing set yourself from the art shop or online from Lazada (contact the teacher to get the full list of drawing tools needed, and pictures of the drawing tools so you know what to buy).

Note 2: If you wish to continue drawing Sri Yantra at home, after the course, it is recommended to purchase the Sri Yantra Drawing Manual, which contains the steps for drawing, exactly like we will do in class, and also the Painting Meditation steps.

The cost of the Sri Yantra Drawing Manual is RM125.
