基于新冠肺炎的疫情，剧场无法如常操作而导致许多舞台演出被迫延迟或腰斩。为了可以延续剧场精神，云剧场就此诞生。云剧场成立于2020年，顾名思义是让观众在云端观看现场演出的平台。虽然不是传统剧场的实体格式，但数码平台的“云剧场”尽可能达到犹如以往到传统剧场观剧的效果，也是目前为止最接近传统舞台表演的观剧方式效果，也希望借此机会可以将剧场活动再度燃烧活跃！大马首创“云剧场”的创办人叶伟良和李浩峰表示，这次疫情的确打开大家接受新事物的阔度。短期内若无法回到剧场的话，那就得结合网络直播的力量来尽量还原剧场魅力，也希望可以吸引更多来自不同地方的观众可以同时观看戏剧作品，也未尝不是一件好事。云剧场并不会因为疫情的结束而终止，反而他们俩希望日后的舞台演出可以打破“实体空间”的限制，将传统剧场与云剧场结合，同时间让身处在不同地方的观众也可以一起观赏演出，实属具有前瞻性的大胆突破。
During this pandemic, theatres’ operation has been severely affected. Shows have been either cancelled or postponed. Instead of waiting for the next step by the government, William Yap and Dennis Lee took the initiative to think outside the box by creating Cloud Theatre as an alternative platform to keep the performing arts industry alive and relevant. Instead of bringing the audience to the theatre, Cloud Theatre will bring the theatre to the audience no matter where they are in the world via an online digital platform. The pandemic has pushed everyone to open up their acceptance for trying new things. It also pushed the art industry to think creatively by combining the power of the digital platform with conventional stage performances. The founders also believe that Cloud Theatre could become an extension to the physical theatre in the future even when the pandemic is over by bringing live performances to a broader audience across geographical boundaries.

Q : How do I watch the show show after I purchase ticket? 我买票了，到时怎样看戏呢？
A : You will receive a confirmation email from “Cloud Theatre”. You will find a private access link in that email. Kindly read through the instruction on how to access and doors open time.

Q : Can I pay cash? 我可以付现金来购票吗？
A : No. Only online transaction is allowed. We accept FPX and Credit Card payments.

Q : Can I be late? 我可以迟到吗？
A : Yes, but try to be on time. It is like going to the cinema, if you are late, you will not be able to watch it from the beginning.

Q : How do I watch it in full screen mode? 我应该怎样打开全屏模式来看表演？
A : Move your cursor to the bottom right corner of the video and click the expand button to make the video full screen.
