𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗫 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦

𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶 𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗿’s international experience includes Battery Dance Company’s Dancing to Connect program (USA) and the Step Up 2014 project with Fabulous Dance Theatre (Ireland). She also took part in 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘶, a production supported by the Krishen Jit Astro Fund. In 2015, Dutch choreographer Katja Grassli featured her in 𝘐𝘯 𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘜𝘴.
She has presented her choreography internationally, with 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮 featured at the World Dance Alliance Asia-Pacific 2016 (South Korea) and 𝘒𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘶𝘴 selected for the Singapore International Dance Festival 2024. Her prolific body of contemporary work includes pieces such as 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮, 𝘖𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘑𝘰𝘮𝘩𝘦𝘣𝘰𝘩, 𝘚𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘵, 𝘓𝘰𝘴𝘵, 𝘐𝘵, 𝘐𝘨𝘢𝘪, 𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘬, 𝘙𝘢𝘴𝘢, 𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪, and 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘪 𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨. She was also one of the choreographers for the contemporary full-length production 𝘑𝘢𝘮𝘶 2024 and served as a panellist at ArtKU Xpert Sharing ChoreoX.
Most recently, under MyDance Alliance, she presented a piece for Dancing in Place. She also performed as a vocalist in 𝘛𝘢𝘳𝘪 𝘛𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘺𝘢 𝘔𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘶 at the JKKN Traditional Arts Theatre (Panggung Seni Tradisional).

Bringing Frank McGuinness’ Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me back has been on the cards for a few years but the pandemic did not make things easy.

We finally did it for klpac’s 20th thanks to 🇮🇪 The Embassy of Ireland in Malaysia 🇦🇺 The Australian High Commission in Malaysia and, of course, the playwright himself and Ifunanya Madueke of Casarotto Ramsay & Associates.

Thank you from all of us at The Actors Studio & klpac for the full houses and standing ovation, night after night. Big shout out to those who bought the Patron of the Arts (POTA) tickets in aid of our fundraising.

Many said it hit them harder this time round 😢 Definitely a treat seeing this amazing cast together after a decade, working their magic on stage. Wishing everyone… 🐰🐰🐰
