We have been on a long hiatus on social media, but rest assured we were still tirelessly working on creating beautiful weddings-- all thanks to word-of-mouth and referrals from our lovely couples. ❤️

But we have missed sharing our stories here!
Our mission is to say bye-bye to cookie-cutter weddings, and let's all advocate for weddings that are meaningful, personalized, tells the story of the couple and everything they love. It is really not about the price tag of the wedding, but how much heart goes into it. :)

Inspired by our bride’s Japanese roots and her love for Beauty & the Beast, we built the most unique theme for our couple featuring cherry blossoms (instead of red roses), gold candelabras (everyone remembers Lumiere from BATB right?), and glass domes filled with pastel florals. After an intimate exchange of vows, Angie and Tommy admired the view from their hilltop ceremony. ❤️ We didn’t go with a traditional arch, but instead we went for a floral installation with tree logs— complementing the beautiful nature backdrop perfectly! [📷: ]

Part of our wedding planning services scope is to provide assistance in bridal styling— whether it is accompanying you on gown shopping trips; working with a gown designer for your customized gown; scouting for the perfect wedding heels; searching up and down for matching accessories; recommending the right makeup/ hair— aka everything in our power to make our brides look and feel absolutely gorgeous, yet staying true to their personal style! ❤️ Case in point— our bride, Paige, has a clean minimalist style, so this sleek yet dramatic gown was perfection for her (scroll to the end to see how we changed up this look with detachable sleeves). To add a sense of whimsy, we scoured all over the web for a romantic pearl headband— and the entire bridal look was further elevated by a sheer veil dotted with pearls. 😍 What we loved most was that Paige actually did her own makeup— very befitting considering she was the brand manager for . ❤️ What is most important to us in every wedding is for our couples to embrace every part of being themselves, because these details will be the most meaningful and beautiful. @ Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur

June and Nicholas work in Dubai and the States respectively, and to pay homage to their unique love story, we weaved Middle-Eastern elements into this intimate wedding (with less than 50 pax!) at . Instead of a traditional backdrop, we built a gazebo with soft drapes, accented with pillows, cushions, carpets and lanterns for guests to not only use it as a photo op, but as an actual chill out corner to feast on grapes and Medjool dates. ❤️

For our uber cool couple who loves drinking, we incorporated wine details into their decor— rose gold wine bottles filled with tall candles and fully bloomed roses, and calligraphed place cards on wine bottle corks. The bridal table was elegant yet ethereal with the blush tulle runner speckled with rose gold sparkles— perfect for a bride who loves rose gold. Thank you cards and shoe game questionnaire (for guests to submit questions) also formed part of the table setting. Ultimately, we always strive to create an experience that is not only visually beautiful, but immersive and interactive! ❤️

Due to overwhelming response to this wedding we planned in Penang last year, was so kind to invite the couple and the OG vendors-- ourselves (planner & decorator), (photographer), and (videographer)-- to do a live sharing session on the vision, behind-the-scenes, and meaning behind many of the details and shots that you see. In this video, the couple, Ji-An and Reuben, shared their considerations, tips and regrets in planning their wedding; and we also discussed about how we can execute a similarly meaningful wedding-- even in this pandemic season. This is as real as it gets!!

This is dedicated to those of you who are considering a small wedding in light of the current situation. 😊This intimate wedding ceremony was held at the condominium rooftop of the bride’s home— filled with rustic and romantic dusty blue and blush accents— it was the most beautiful morning. The ceremony was attended by the closest loved ones of the couple, and ended with a buffet luncheon in the condo’s common hall. So believe us when we say we say that even a small wedding at home can be the most beautiful affair. ❤️ @ Subang Jaya

We are always thinking out-of-the-box in ways to tell our couple’s story— instead of the usual Mr and Mrs couple chair signs, we opted for customized signs that convey the start of J&M’s love story, decorated with an organic leafy wreath. 😍 The chair signs are now part of the couple’s home decor; we just love it when certain parts of your wedding can be kept as a momento! ❤️ @ The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur
