A Zumba styled, high energy cardio class called “Followgraphy”. Don’t need to think, just follow! These classes focus on getting the heart pumping to Bollywood music with basic easy to follow steps. Most steps are repeated with introductio
n of different movements each week. There’s a strange power in repetition – you’d be surprised at how your body can execute and go deeper into a step once you’ve done it a couple of times! The second way is more choreographed. This is for those who wish to learn the flair and feel of Bollywood. Don’t underestimate this style of teaching – although it will take some time to put together a dance routine, but once it’s done, it is extremely rewarding and a great workout. Best still is the ability to play the song and perform it with confidence and incorporate facial expressions. Feel like a Bollywood movie star! Either way, both styles will help keep fit – and the best thing is, there is no right or wrong. Give your body the chance and give your mind the challenge. Be surprised at your ability to move, because dance is within us!
