❤️ MAJOR Love for this round of !

I introduced the kids to natural pigments and it was a blast! Although some pigments didn't turn out as bright as I wish it would, but overall, I'd say we had a super-amazing-awesome time.

Taught K the fundamentals of our belief and so happy that I could also incorporate some art fun into it too.

BOING! BOING! BOING!
Fun balloon painting with this cutie pie!

The general idea of painting typically involves a paintbrush - or sometimes - the hands.

I love letting children experience different ways to create art and seeing the different results they get by doing so. Of course, it has to be a fun process too!

This helps with sensory and motor developments while the brain absorbs it as a valuable experience for them.

Give it a try with your kids, students or even YOURSELF!

to some Eid craft we did during our Islamic session before the Eid break.

It has been a while since I last posted. Classes had been going on steadily - I am missing a few regulars since the Raya break due to personal commitments.

I am forever grateful to the understanding parents (and kids!) who continuously support me in this journey.

Lots of love from Ms Bell

An abstract painting project inspired by the artist Peit Mondrian.

What we assume was simple, rectangular squares - turns out to be something that we really needed to focus on and we had to make sure the edges were painted to perfection!

It has been a while but yes, I still do facepainting for events and parties!

Thank you for having me last weekend. Truly appreciate the camaraderie and friendship, even when I "disappeared" through tough times.

In this week's Islamic session, the kids were introduced to the Qiblah.

I even brought out the old-school compass for them to find the qiblah!

Making their own home deco with Allah's name.

Always a fun session with these cutie pies. The questions they ask - I have to always be ready!

Kids between the age of 4 to 6 tend to have a higher curiosity about God, the world, their observation of other cultures and religions (amidst their silly p**p and pe**ee jokes). It is vital to provide them with answers that are good enough to make them understand diversity and at the same time, to sow the seed of faith.

Push too hard, they will lose interest.
Tread too lightly, they won't appreciate it.

What is your approach when answering all the mind-boggling & challenging questions from young kids?

Basic lesson on our 5 Pillars of Islam. The younger ones focused more on the craft activity while the older students had quite a thorough discussion with me on the subject.

My aim for the younger ones is to create awareness whilst for older children, is to ignite their curiosity and interest to understand more and to love the subject itself.

Grateful for the opportunity to play this role in their learning journey ❤️
