After much consideration, we have decided that it is time for us to close our doors at Market 88. It was a difficult decision, even though we have only reopened for a few months after 4 years, but we appreciate the support from our returning customers and the new ones we've made in these past few months. Fret not, our kuih muih isn't going anywhere anytime soon! This may be the end of our small shop, but it is not the end of Aunty Amy, as we will still offer our services through home-based catering!

Auntie Amy’s Nyonya Kitchen stemmed from the love of food and passion for cooking a good meal, sharing it with family & friends.

Amy hailed from Penang, learned the art of cooking Nyonya food and kuih from her mother-in-law who lives in Taiping, Perak and her aunties & cousins from Penang. Amy’s signature Kaya spread was taught by her mother. While Nyonya food is her specialty, Amy also cooks a range of International flavours including Indonesian, Korean, Thai and Philipino dishes.

After moving to Kota Kinabalu, she shares her love for food with family & friends, and now you, through Auntie Amy’s Nyonya Kitchen. You can taste other international flavours as well, which make their occasional appearances in Aunty Amy’s Nyonya Kitchen. Because her loved ones eat the same food, you can be assured that you’re enjoying a hearty home-cooked meal and kuihs made with the freshest ingredients, with no artificial flavours and colorings.
