Hello Sabah extends our sincere thanks to Tourism Malaysia Sabah for including us as part of this meaningful initiative.

Celebrating Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage through the flavours of Borneo, Tourism Malaysia, in collaboration with ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre, proudly presents Flavour of Sabah Kaamatan & Taste of Sarawak Gawai, a curated experience inspired by the vibrant harvest festivals of Sabah and Sarawak.

The event was officiated by YB Tuan Chiew Choon Man, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia. Julinus Jeffery Jimit, CEO of Sabah Tourism Board was also present, thus, underscoring the importance of preserving and promoting the nation’s diverse cultural traditions through gastronomy and hospitality.

Yesterday, we had a meeting at Sheraton Hotel for the upcoming "Rizab Biosfera Banjaran Crocker ke -12 dan Pemasyuhran Rizab Biosfera Kinabatangan" event happening from 13-14 June 2026 at Padang Merdeka Kota Kinabalu.

It's a packed week for the SPS team as we balance preparations for three upcoming events this weekend while participating in a series of courtesy visits and strategic meetings with partners and stakeholders.

These engagements provide valuable opportunities to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and pave the way for future collaborations as we work towards delivering impactful programmes for the community.

Last Friday, we took a step toward a greener future for Sabah's tourism industry.

Hosted by Sabah Tourism Board and supported by Sri Pelancongan Sabah, the Agrotourism Briefing & Introduction Session brought together industry leaders, regional experts, and key stakeholders for a morning of meaningful conversations around sustainable agrotourism development.

The session kicked off with an introduction by our very own CEO of Sri Pelancongan Sabah, setting the vision for where agrotourism in Sabah is headed.

This was followed by valuable insights from PELADANG Tawau, FAMA Tawau, and the Tawau Hospitality Industry Association, wrapping up with an open Q&A that sparked real dialogue.
