*班厝* 是 #班达马兰新村第一家故事舘，将展示班达马兰的历史故事、在地文化相关的 #主题性故事展览，配以美食小吃、 #新村导览 等各种活动。以村里的老房子作爲基地，将在屋外空地种植蔬果花草，打造自家农产品，室内则会成爲 #私房菜基地 和 #技能换宿的空间，同
时出售各种班达马兰制作的产品。这里会不定期办 #工作坊或讲座，偶尔也会对外出租为活动空间。
The word "班厝" (Ban Cuo) pronounced as "bān chǔ" in Hokkien dialect, which translates into “wooden house”. The three-foot brick wooden houses in the village was chosen so that people could relive their childhood and experience the feeling as if they had returned to their grandmother’s home when they visit Ban Chu, traces of lives from the older generation can evidently be seen. Here, local culture-related themed exhibitions such as the history of Pandamaran, will be exhibited from time to time. With guided tours of the place to give you an in-depth understanding of this new village, including knowing the significance of the Royal City of Klang and Port Klang which played an important role in the development of Malaya. Vegetables, fruits, flowers and plants are planted in the open space outside Ban Chu, creating their own agricultural products. Occasionally, a private home cuisine experience from the wooden house will be done by elderly women from the village, or, other times, the collaboration of chefs from many places. Workshops are held here from time to time, while occasionally, it is also rented out as an event space.
With the fusion of local dialects, it is a word that sounds nice and sentimental to the ear.
