The Stinky Prickly Ones
This year we are blessed with a good fruit season. Our solitary bachang tree yielded 2000 + fruits (will share about that separately).
For the past few days, we have been making daily trips to D'Bayou to collect durians. Our average is 10 pieces per day which is good enough for us. If we were to include those messed by the marauding monkeys, consumed by the tupai or taken away by fellow humans, it would have averaged 20 fruits per day. Alhamdullilah, very happy nonetheless to have that 10 per day. A large number is given away with some sold per request.
Below are pics of four varieties . . . creamy custard to bitter smooth. Next to harvest are the mangosteens.
