Japanese Curry cooked with secret spices and veggie stock
Tornado Omelette and Chicken Katsu on top of the rice. Meal included a cup of Green Tea, or upgrade to Genmaicha with a value price.
Influenced by history, Taiwan has gradually developed a unique style of Japanese cuisine. All of the “Japanese Dish” served in Southerncross Station Cafe are also a kind of “Taiwanese-Style Japanese Food”. We’ve specially incorporated some Taiwanese spices and used Grandma’s homemade vegetable stock recipe, making it not only a taste of home but also a testament to tradition.

Happy 520! How’s your day?

Yes, this is another anniversary for us, the day we did our marriage registration in Australia. This date also on every marriage certificate of all the countries we had stayed, our official wedding anniversary.🤭🤭

喔對，這又是老闆和闆娘的其中一個結婚紀念日，之前說過因為在三個國家所以有三個結婚紀念日
但是這是最重要的一個，因為是第一次結婚的日子，也是出現在我們所有結婚證書上的「官方認證日期」

Thanks for NCUT EMBA overseas study tour from Taiwan which lead by Dr. Teng and P Lab Ipoh Mr. Chok.

Southerncross station Cafe located in Bidor, a historical town which on an important hub of southern Perak. It was prospered due to tin mining but also faces the challenge of urban transformation due to the decline of the tin mining industry.

Mr. Chok, the founder of P LAB in Ipoh, also as known as a renowned travel writer who has dedicated himself to promoting local revitalization in recent years.
He has made significant contributions to many local sunset industries and traditional art creators, while also providing tremendous support to youths returning to their hometowns.

As a new business starter who just returned to hometown, this visit by Mr. Chok and Dr. Teng to Southerncross Station Cafe is a great honor and encouragement for us.

Someone who visited have asked us why we back to Bidor to start a business?
There’s never needed a reason for going back home.

Bidor, Alex’s hometown, the root of our lives. Therefore, we are happy to give our purest love, to make more people see the beauty of this land, and that those who see it will cherish it in return.

Thanks again for team of NCUT EMBA and P Lab to visit, spent your lunch with us and listen to the brief history of this town.

南澳時刻座落於霹靂州南部的重要城鎮-美羅，一個因開採錫礦而蓬勃亦因錫礦產業沒落而面臨城市轉型挑戰的小鎮

怡保P LAB主理人卓老師為知名旅遊作家，近年來不遺餘力的推動地方創生，為許多當地日漸凋零的夕陽產業、傳統藝術做出巨大的貢獻，同時也給予返鄉青年們極大的支持
這次卓老師與鄧教授帶領參訪團隊來到南澳時刻，對於剛返鄉創業不久的我們是莫大的榮幸與鼓舞

來到店裡的朋友們曾問我們為什麼返鄉創業？
回家從來不是一件需要理由的事情
美羅，是Alex的家鄉，是我們生命的根源，所以我們給予這個地方最純粹的愛，希望這塊土地讓更多人看見她的美好，也希望看見她的人同樣珍愛她

Soup of the day- Creamy Cauliflower Soup
Fresh cauliflower and selected potatoes cooked with cream, Parmesan cheese. Parsley, celery and chef special herbal garlic oil for garnish. Non roux-based, more light for your diet.
