PRE-MONSOON ACTIVITY ALREADY HAS OCCURRED | HIGH MONSOON ACTIVITY IS ANTICIPATED AS PATTERNS LOCK PLUS MORE DETAILS
Hi guys Sina Moghaddami (ZoneWatch CEO) here and some of you have seen potentially this on my personal page (which continues) but going forward Im working directly with RS(Kevin) again via National Weather Force Innovations (SCWF AZWF Umbrella). Expect a post weekly from me and other posts from RS. The push towards high quality updates (this will include weekly live streams as well). The only update in terms of this. Going forward its just the forecast...weekly...YES weekly lives from both RS and I.
Lets get into details:
Already, storms have occurred across Arizona, and that is actually all pre-monsoon activity.
The monsoon season has yet to start, and already most pattern recognition traits are pushing towards a very interesting monsoon season.
Keep something in mind while many other people are stating how we’re already coming into a super El Niño: well, that is not correct. We’re slowly going into an El Niño, and as we move into August is when it will rapidly speed up with the temperature rises. That being said, the tropics across the West Coast will be interesting to watch given the following:
Massive heat across the Pacific Ocean, even near the coast of CA, which could mean:
* More moisture
* More instability for t-storms
* Higher rates of rainfall (since more moisture also means higher rates)..especially when the monsoon pattern kicks in.
*something to seriously watch will be how this will influence tropical activity as it rides upwards towards either SOCAL or AZ.
What’s Next?
More and more moisture is looking to push into the AZ and southern CA region, allowing for more pre-monsoon activity. Likely, this will accelerate and concentrate as we move into the monsoon pattern.

Already we can see the shift coming along with the jet stream now south of us slightly while we’re slightly baking with the high pressure… that same high pressure as tropical storms start forming will be something to watch as the move northward and with this warm blob of waters… I wouldn’t be surprised if even San Diego in the summer got hit by a tropical storm or post tropical storm (especially given the warm waters)…
Watching as the pattern slowly moves into the monsoon pattern we know and love… another thing that will be watched will be the tropics…they're already starting to get active...
