What is H Garden Venue?

More than a dinner—it’s an experience.
A warm, intimate space in the heart of San José del Cabo’s Gallery District, where friends and loved ones gather around a beautiful table to enjoy memorable flavors, served family-style.

You’re welcome to bring your own wine—no corkage fee. That’s part of our hospitality.

For 20 years, I ran H Restaurant, a traditional kitchen many remember with affection. But something inside me longed for a different rhythm—more personal, more intentional. That’s how H Garden Venue was born.

We offer a curated calendar of gastronomic experiences, from October to May, every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—always by reservation.

You can find menus and dates on our social media. Follow us to stay up to date and book your seat in time.

Each season brings something new:
• Arts & Bistro Collections – Six-course, family-style menus where food and art meet.
• Dinner Series – Themed evenings like Prime Rib Galas or Holiday dinners.
• Festive Boxes To Go – For Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s.
• Catering & Special Celebrations – At villas, large venues, or at H Garden (up to 40 guests).
• Seasonal Brunches & Cooking Classes – For those who love to cook at home.

I cook within the styles I love: French bistro, Italian trattoria, Mediterranean, and American bistro—timeless and heartfelt cuisines.

I’m Chef Luis Herrera, and I’m honored to share this project with my father, the warm host of H Garden Venue, who welcomes every guest with a smile.

Thank you for an unforgettable season.

H Garden is taking a summer pause, and I want to take this moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who, with your presence and enthusiasm, made this season full of memorable moments possible.

Thank you for joining me at every dinner, every special event, every toast, every conversation… Thank you for trusting my vision, enjoying my cooking, and allowing me to share what I love most.

During these summer months, we will be recharging our energy, letting creativity flow, and carefully planning the event schedule for the 2025/26 season, which will begin this October. Great experiences await you: Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys to take home, special New Year’s menus, private posadas for executive groups, cooking classes, dinner series, prime rib nights, our Arts and Bistro all inclusive dinners, special brunches, private parties, villa catering, and much more.

We will continue with our classic “bring your own bottle with no corkage fee” policy, because we believe the best moments are shared without rules, among friends, with a good glass in hand…

And I’ll take care of the cooking.

I’m deeply happy to express myself through this personal concept, where I put my name, my experience, and my heart. A cuisine that reflects my passions: Mediterranean, trattoria, bistro… noble ingredients, clean flavors, real and healthy food made to be enjoyed and remembered.

Summer Italian Nights
At H Garden Venue, we have delicious plans for this summer!
Join us every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for our special series:
“Summer Italian Nights” — a celebration of Italy’s most comforting and flavorful dishes.
We love Italian cuisine, and of course, pasta!
We begin with our irresistible garlic bread: golden, soft, with butter, parsley, and parmesan cheese.
Then, choose two appetizers to share at the center of the table — all made with fresh, authentic ingredients.
For the main course, select one of our signature pastas, crafted with care and cooked slowly to bring out the rich flavors of true Italian sauces.
To end the night, enjoy one of our delightful desserts, the perfect sweet finale to your Italian evening.
Bring your own wine — we’ll serve it with pleasure and no corkage fee, a perfect chance to pair your dinner just the way you like it.
