Some gifts are special not because of their size or value, but because of the love and thought behind them. ❤️

A patient recently surprised me with dark chocolate-covered Cabernet cherries from Washington state🍒🍫🍷 .They paired perfectly with a bottle of w**e I had been saving from a trip to France years ago. My husband and I enjoyed them sitting outside our patio reminiscing.

Moments like this remind me how meaningful kindness can be and how grateful I am for the people who make life so sweet. I feel truly blessed to have such wonderful patients. ❤️🍒

" I still can’t see the final result yet, but I feel great and I really like how everything is starting to look. Dr. Gustavo Sáenz and Dianna Mar guided me very well in making the best decision for me. The nurses are absolutely amazing! The entire clinic team made me feel safe and protected.

Thank you, Bodies by Di Transformation Studio!"

Life Talk: Why Screening Matters

I want to share something personal with you today.

Yesterday, I got unusual results from my mammogram. I’ll be having additional imaging and testing so my doctors can take a closer look.

I don’t want to assume what the results mean. Right now, I’m gathering more information, and I’m grateful for my amazing medical team.

But this reminded me of something especially important during Breast Cancer Awareness Month:

Please get your screenings.

It’s easy to put off a mammogram. We’re busy, and sometimes we think, “I feel fine, so I’ll do it next month.”

But that’s why screening matters. You don’t have to feel something for it to show up on a mammogram. Screening can catch things earlier, when they may be easier to treat and when we have more options.

So, as I wait for the next step, I encourage you:

Make the appointment.

Get the screening.

Follow up when your doctor recommends additional testing.

Don’t ignore something just because you feel okay.

I’m hopeful, grateful, and taking this one step at a time with a wonderful medical team beside me.

If sharing my experience reminds even one person to schedule a mammogram, it’s worth it.

Take care of yourself. Your health is worth the appointment.

‼️Sometimes transformation is so profound that even your ID doesn’t recognize you.‼️
After losing more than 100 pounds and undergoing skin removal and facial surgery, my patient recently had an experience that perfectly illustrated just how much she has changed. 👮She was pulled over, and when she presented her old ID, the officer was convinced the woman in the photo could not possibly be the woman standing in front of him. He ultimately tore up the ID and told her she needed a new one.
But the most extraordinary transformation isn’t what happened on the outside, it’s the confidence, strength, and new sense of self that happens on the inside.
💗 When you truly become a new version of yourself, sometimes even the world has to catch up. 💕

If you’re ready to become the version of yourself you’ve always envisioned, let’s talk about what your transformation could look like. 📱 (956) 560-3839

The difference between Capsulotomy and Capsulectomy:
The difference lies in how much of the scar capsule is removed. A capsulotomy involves making an incision or scoring the capsule—basically releasing or opening it—to relieve tightness but leaving most of it intact. A capsulectomy, on the other hand, means removing part or all of that capsule altogether. Both are done when dealing with complications like capsular contracture
