And this one wasn’t light either… there had to be at least half a kilo of tortillas flying in that shot. 😭🌮

🔥🥑🤼‍♂️ AVOCADO FEST — FALL FESTIVAL SEASON IS HERE! 🤼‍♂️🥑🔥

Fall festival season is starting, and when there’s lucha at one… you already know we’re pulling up. 😂

The people at Salinas Promotions understand something that can actually be difficult: how to build a lucha card for a festival crowd. It’s different from a paying lucha audience. You have people walking around, eating, shopping, kids everywhere… your matches have to be entertaining enough to keep somebody from leaving to go buy an espiropapa. 😂🥔

And this card did exactly that without sacrificing the lucha at its core.

We started with Kirosary & Virgo vs. Wolverine & La Monja,

followed by a solid 1-on-1 with Angelo vs. Ty King.

Then came a 3-way for the MXLAN Championship:
Black Cat Jr. vs. Gravity — who has seen AEW action — vs. the champ Arkangel Jr. 🔥
And our boy Arkangel Jr. retains! 🏆

Then the lucha estelar gave the festival exactly what it needed: Spawn, Toro Negro & Keiser vs. Kato Kung Lee Jr., Espanto Jr. & Tigre Blanco. Characters, action, experience and straight-up entertainment.

That’s how you do lucha at a festival. 👏🔥

Avocado Fest has officially earned a spot in our yearly lucha plans. We had a great time and we’ll definitely be back.

🔥🤼‍♂️ ANOTHER FNL — FRIDAY NIGHT LUCHA AT ARENA HIPSTER 🤼‍♂️🔥

And by now, if I still gotta tell you to pull up… you either really don’t wanna watch lucha or you just hate great entertainment at a great price. 😂

The card Hipster put on last night could go toe-to-toe with plenty of other promotions in the area. This wasn’t just a bunch of random matches either — it was some of the best local talent in matches that actually meant something, and that always gets the crowd going.

We started with a young stars 3-way tournament featuring Rey Negro Jr., Azul Fuego and Ramsés. Rey Negro Jr. and Azul Fuego both come from lucha lineage, while Ramsés continues showing why he’s one of Reynosa’s brightest young prospects. Congrats to Azul Fuego on getting crowned! 🔥

Match 2 was another 3-way championship match, and this one was extra cool for us — La Monja, Calavera Diamante and Rey Fugaz, three of the first luchadores who believed in us enough to let us make jackets for them. So who do we cheer for? 😂
Come on… you already know it’s Monja!
Great match, but Calavera Diamante retains thanks to Nacho! 👀

Then came the family feud featuring what might be four of the best luchadoras the RGV has to offer: Diamond Divina, Lady Zarzy, Swetty and the legend Hija de Zarzy. If you know local lucha, you already knew this was going to be hard-hitting. Blood relation didn’t mean a damn thing once they got in the ring. It got physical, it got bloody, and in the end daughter beats mom with a little help from bro — maybe a little payback from a few weeks ago. 😂
And we got a new Ladies Champion… Swetty! 👑🔥

The semifinal was a straight-up 956 battle — Laredo vs. the real RGV. Our boys Maldición Jr. and Mysterio Boy represented, but sadly Laredo took this one.

And I’m dropping a hot take right now…

Then came the lucha estelar, loaded with some of the best talent the area has to offer: Black Cat, Arkangel Jr., Pitágoras Jr., Zarzy Tiger, Norteñito, and one of the biggest exóticos around, Mamba.

And boy… was it entertaining.

For the real RGV lucha fans, I’ll just say this:

Zarzy Tiger vs. Mamba in the ring.

Do I really need to say more? 😤🔥

Yeah, this review is long… but this card deserved to be talked about properly.

🔥🐆 HIJO DE THE PANTHER × ESTO ES LUCHA RGV 🐆🔥

Lil Panther has only been on the scene for about three months, but you can already tell there’s a solid foundation there. The talent, the presence, the background… it caught our attention early.

So when we had the opportunity, we wanted to offer our services and create something special for a rising talent from the very beginning.

This custom presentation jacket was made for Hijo de The Panther — El Jefe de Jefes. 😤🔥 Seeing him actually come out in it and rock it in the ring makes the whole thing hit different.

We’re excited to be onboard early and see where this journey takes him.

La lucha siempre nos deja momentos… nosotros nomás buscamos cómo convertirlos en algo. 😂🤼‍♂️

Hace un tiempo una foto del Querubín y su famoso selfie stick empezó a hacer ruido por ahí 😂. Desde ese momento le dijimos: “Carnal, esa foto tiene una playera escrita por todos lados… te vamos a agarrar.”

Y pues… palabra es palabra. 😂

Entre una cosa y otra llegó Lucha Burger, y la idea cambió. Ya no ocupaba playera… ocupaba mandil. 🍔🔥

Ayer por fin se lo entregamos.

Querubín es de esa raza que siempre anda tomando fotos, compartiendo, cotorreando y poniendo su granito de arena para que este ambiente siga siendo lo que es. Y nosotros somos creyentes de algo bien sencillo:

Las buenas vibras también se regresan.

🔥🤼‍♂️ Matamoros vs. Reynosa, a championship match, and stars from Mexico City… and somehow that’s just a regular Sunday at Panther Promotions. 🤼‍♂️🔥

We pulled up to the beautiful city of Reynosa, and well… you already know it bangs. 😤🔥

A city rivalry that kept escalating, a 4-on-4 match with interference, an unfortunate injury during the championship match, and then an old-school ras de lona clinic to round things out. That variety is exactly what Panther Promotions keeps bringing on a Sunday basis.

We also got some big news — our boy Super Boy Jr. is joining CMLL! 🔥👏 Huge moment for him and we’ll definitely be following that journey.

We love lucha anywhere, but Reynosa is still our favorite spot by far. Great lucha, great people, and always a good time with the Reysa crew.

Now we’re already looking forward to the Mania in November. 👀🔥

And most importantly, wishing Hijo de Panther a speedy recovery. 🙏
