Every Monday after the superbowl (next, Feb the 5th 2018), we invite you to our off road poker fun run! The run starts at the Boobar where you will be handed your tally sheets with map and shirt. The run is divided up into 6 stops throughout the desert and beach, 5 card stops and one stop to air down tires just before the beach. This stop is specifically for that purpose. et stuck in the sand so please listen to the organizers and AIR DOWN! There will be a place to draw your cards at the front of the line with the leader. in the middle and another card drawing table at the end. You will need a 4x4 if you're in a full size vehicle. Razors, rhinos, quads and any other off road vehicles do just fine. Rules go as follows......:
1. This is the most important thing to consider!
2. BE COURTEOUS WITH OTHER DRIVERS! Provide adequate space between you and the driver in front of you, but not so much you lose them.
3. BE PATIENT! Not everyone has a hot rod so be patient. Some may get stuck in the sand or mud. Be courteous and patient. Put yourselves in their spot and ask how you would like to be treated.
4. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF OUR DESERTS! We will be going through a reserve and various stops will be along this reserve. So we ask you pick up your trash and any other you may see along the way.
5. Only one hand per person will be allowed.
6. You must present your Tally Sheet at each stop. Then pick one card and show an organizer. They will then write the result on this sheet and stamp it. This process will be repeated at all 5 stops. (5 cards to a poker hand, 5 stops)
7. In case of a tie, there will be a draw for High Card to determine the winner.
8. All decisions of the judges (Jose and Pacman) are FINAL!
9. Cash prizes will be divided up in 1st place (35%), 2nd place (25%), 3rd place (15%) and 4th place (10%). The rest of the money (15%) will be donated to a local charity.
10. CHEATING WILL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION AND AN OLD FASHION ASS WHOOPING!!! HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
