If you look closely at the fifth photo, you'll see their pup made a surprise guest appearance right on the cake's tier. ➡️ 🐶

Including personal details like a custom pet topper and/or a hand-rolled cigar station gives an oceanfront reception so much character!

Add in a first dance framed by cold sparks on the pool dance floor, and you have a night nobody will forget. ✨ 😍

One of the things we love most about our estate is that it arrives empty. No fixed layout, no house style to work around ... just the space, the pool, and the sea, waiting to become whatever a couple imagines.

Amanda and Alejandro imagined this: a dance floor laid right over our pool with their A&A monogram at its center, round tables and long wooden banquet lines fanning out toward the water. From above, you can see the whole thing ... their design, their night, the Caribbean close by. 🌴

Getting every guest out of their seats and onto the main steps for the full group shot takes a minute ... but you end up with something like this (swipe to view). 😄

Bridesmaids in deep chocolate satin, family and friends gathered in close around Amanda and Alejandro just after the petal toss. This is what it looks like when a couple's whole world shows up for them. 😁 🥂🤍

Amanda and Alejandro honored their traditions on the front stepsof our villa on November 21st. 💍

During the ceremony, their families draped the lasso over the couple's shoulders, the symbol of two families becoming one, carried out right at the villa's entrance. And when Alejandro pulled Amanda in for that first kiss as husband and wife, the whole courtyard erupted. 🥹👏

There's something beautiful about bringing your favorite people across the world to a place where the days slow right down. ☺️🌎

The ocean air, an estate with no one on it but your own guests, that quiet stretch on the terrace right before things begin. Amanda and Alejandro had their ceremony at the main entrance ... steps from the water, though it's the villa's arches and staircase that frame the moment here, with a floral arch of white blooms and trailing greenery at its center. ☀️

Just when you think a black-tie reception couldn't get any better, the groomsmen crash the dance floor in full-body cow costumes. 🐄 😂

Melissa and Derek kept the dance floor alive until the absolute last song; twirling on the clear pool floor, feeding each other cherry-topped cake, and tossing the bouquet into a crowd of eager friends!!

Guys, your party set a whole new bar for Villa La Joya; thanks for choosing us to host your day!! 😁 🙌

From above, you can see what makes this one special: a dance floor built over the pool, newlyweds in the middle, and their favorite people gathered around the water.

As the sun set over the villa, the chandeliers began to glow and everyone settled in for the speeches. With no one else on the property, it was only the people who mattered ... no strangers or a party next door. This is what it's like to say I-do at our villa. 🥂

Hands in the air, cold sparks ready, and guests gathered around the pool as Melissa and Derek made their way to the sweetheart table. 🙌

Their seats faced the pool and the ocean beyond, framed by a low wall of white florals, a "Just Married" runner, and chandeliers overhead. Of all the spots at the villa to sit for dinner, it's hard to beat that one. 🤍

Melissa and Derek, your reception came together beautifully. 🤩

Taking a group shot with the groomsmen on the front stairs is one way to kick off marriage!

M & D kept their bridal squad hyped the entire time, between quiet portraits along the balcony and champagne toasts. You can tell this group came to Mexico to enjoy every second. 🇲🇽 🌴

You can plan every detail of a wedding, but you can't plan the look on two people's faces the second they're declared husband and wife.

Melissa and Derek had that look ... turning classic architecture into a memorable celebration the second that kiss landed. 🥰 👰

Congratulations, you two! 💍
