Luxury weddings are not about having more…
they are about choosing better.

A beautifully curated tablescape is never accidental.

Every element plays a role:
the textures of the linens,
the rhythm of the florals,
the balance between stationery, tableware and candlelight.

When these pieces come together with intention, the table becomes more than décor.

It becomes part of the experience your guests will remember.

Designing weddings is not about filling spaces.
It is about creating atmosphere.

And atmosphere lives in the details.

Save this if you are planning a wedding and believe the details should feel as intentional as the vows.

The most memorable moments at a wedding rarely happen at the table.

They happen in between.

A conversation over a cocktail.
An unexpected laugh.
A toast that turns into a memory.

That’s why cocktail hour is one of the most important experiences to design.

It’s not just a transition between ceremony and dinner, it’s where the energy of the celebration truly begins.

For this wedding, every detail of the cocktail hour was intentionally curated: signature drinks, layered textures, elegant florals, and a garden setting that invited guests to slow down and connect.

Because a luxury wedding isn’t only about how the space looks. It’s about how it feels.

And when every element works together — the atmosphere, the design, the flow, those small moments become the ones everyone remembers.

If you’re planning a destination wedding in Mexico and want your celebration to feel as thoughtful as it looks, this is where the magic begins.

The first time they saw each other that day… was just for them.

Christine and Lisandro had already celebrated their ceremony in California, so their wedding weekend in Mexico was purely about celebrating with the people they love.

There wasn’t going to be an aisle moment. But I strongly believe: every couple deserves a moment that belongs only to them.

So I suggested doing a first look.

A quiet pause before the celebration begins.
No guests. No timeline pressure. Just the two of them.

Moments like this allow couples to reconnect, breathe, and remember why they are there in the first place.

And sometimes, those unexpected moments become the most meaningful memories of the entire day.

Designing a wedding is not only about logistics.
It’s about creating moments that truly matter.

Who says a bride has to wear a traditional gown?

Modern brides are redefining elegance, choosing pieces that feel personal, refined, and effortlessly chic.

In the quiet moment before everything begins, when the light comes through the window and the house is still, Christine stepped into a look that felt completely her own.

And when the bride, design, the space, and the moment align…
the result is timeless.

Because unforgettable destination weddings are built in the details.

Yesterday I shared how a simple taquería in Mexico City became the perfect setting for Christine & Lisandro’s welcome dinner.

But what truly transformed the space into an experience were the details.

The floral design brought a refined Mexican touch — vibrant marigolds, layered textures, unexpected blooms — arrangements that felt organic, joyful, and deeply connected to the spirit of the place.

Then Christine added her own playful elements: coasters, matches, napkins, maracas, etc.

Nothing felt staged.
Everything felt intentional.

And that is the essence of a well-designed destination wedding weekend: creating moments where design, culture, and personality come together to tell a story.

Because the most memorable celebrations aren’t just beautiful.

They are immersive.

They awaken the senses.
They spark conversation.
And they make guests feel the place they traveled so far to experience.

For couples planning a destination wedding in Mexico, remember:
the magic is always in the details.

Your wedding weekend doesn’t start at the ceremony. It starts with the experience.

For many of our destination couples, the welcome dinner becomes the first chapter of the celebration, the moment where guests arrive, relax, and begin to feel the energy of the place they traveled so far to experience.

In Mexico City, that can mean stepping away from the expected and embracing something authentic, vibrant, and full of personality.

Instead of a traditional rehearsal dinner, Christine and Lisandro welcomed their guests at a colorful taquería: mezcalitas with tajin, fresh citrus, marigolds, music, and the unmistakable atmosphere of a place where the city truly lives.

It was joyful.
Unexpected.
And completely unforgettable.

Because when designing a luxury destination wedding, true sophistication is not about formality, it’s about curating experiences that connect people to the culture of the place.

A welcome dinner like this does more than feed your guests.
It sets the tone, breaks the ice, and turns a wedding into a shared adventure from the very first night.

If you’re envisioning a wedding weekend in Mexico, think beyond the wedding day.
The most beautiful celebrations are the ones that begin with intention.

When the groom speaks… you listen. 🤍

Justin’s words meant more than he probably knows.

Planning a wedding is never just about timelines, logistics, or design boards. It’s months of conversations across time zones. It’s problem-solving before anyone notices there was a problem. It’s protecting the couple’s experience while managing dozens of moving parts behind the scenes.

So when he says the process felt seamless… When he shares how supported they felt… When he tells me their guests are still talking about the wedding…

That is not just a compliment. That is confirmation that the invisible work mattered.

Being a wedding planner is not always glamorous. It is long days, high pressure, emotional responsibility, and constant decision-making. But it is also love, commitment, and passion poured into someone else’s most important day.

And hearing gratitude not only from the bride, but from the groom as well - that balance of voices - means everything to me and to my entire team. Because this is never a one-woman show. It takes a village of dedicated professionals who care deeply.

Justin, thank you for your trust, your kindness, and your words. They remind us exactly why we do what we do. ✨

If you value a planning experience that feels intentional, supported, and truly seamless, I would be honored to guide you.

What if I told you this design is actually… simple?

On the “Wedding Edit” I talked about why wedding flowers are expensive. Today, let me tell you something even more important:

“Less is not less… Less requires precision.”

Birds of Paradise. Tropical greens. Clean structures. Intentional placement.

No excess.
No visual noise.
Just balance, proportion, and impeccable ex*****on.

The real talent of a florist is not filling a space with flowers,
it’s knowing when to stop.
It’s understanding scale.
It’s choosing the exact stem that elevates everything.
It’s transforming a “simple” flower into something architectural and unforgettable.

And most importantly… a true professional florist knows how to translate a couple’s vision into atmosphere.

Romantic. Modern. Tropical. Minimal. Dramatic.
Every choice is intentional. Every texture has a purpose.

Because simplicity done right? It’s luxury.

And luxury is never about quantity.
It’s about intention and emotion.

Save this if you’re planning your wedding and remember: the right florist doesn’t just design flowers… they design how your wedding feels. 🌿

Why are wedding flowers so expensive?”

Before you judge the proposal… watch this.

There’s a reason floral design is one of the most significant investments in a wedding, and it has very little to do with “just flowers.”

In this reel, I’m breaking down what most couples don’t see, but absolutely pay for.

If you’re planning a wedding and setting your floral budget, this will change how you look at it.

Save this before you set your floral budget!

When your couple sends you a video like this… you remember exactly why you do what you do. 🤍✨

Natalie & Justin trusted me for months, across time zones, cultures, ideas and emotions , to bring their vision to life.

Natalie may have lived most of her life outside of Mexico, but her heart wanted something meaningful, something that honored her roots while celebrating their love story in the most authentic way. And being the person she could lean on throughout the entire journey? That is something I don’t take lightly.

Hearing that their guests called it “the best wedding ever” is beautiful… but hearing them say thank you, and knowing they felt supported every step of the way… that’s everything.

This is just Part 1… because Justin’s words deserve their own moment. 🤍

Stay tuned for Part 2. ✨
