Salon De Artistas se crea con el propósito de crear nuestras propias mesas en una industria que muchas veces deja a tantos artistas fuera de los actuales que se han mantenido durante demasiado tiempo. Con plataformas de presentación en línea cuidadosamente seleccionadas, nuestro objetivo es generar y mostrar nuevos talentos. Incentiv

amos a los nuevos talentos para que se unan a nuestra red ofreciendo oportunidades únicas de presentaciones en vivo internas, así como subcontratando asociaciones de desempeño con otras compañías de producción, productores de eventos y cineastas independientes. Buscamos artistas para traer su trabajo original a nuestro escenario; monólogo, una canción, un boceto, un personaje, un baile, un acto. Si es seleccionado, se le invitará a realizar su trabajo original en nuestro escenario. Te filmaremos, capturaremos tu trabajo y lanzaremos tu talento a través de nuestra red. Nuestro objetivo es exponer el talento a las oportunidades de desempeño. Si es seleccionado en el proceso de , se le invitará a actuar en nuestros eventos exclusivamente con cita. Su performance se grabará de forma y tu entrará en clasificación. Los jurado estará conformado por el público y un jurado selecto.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: TYRAN FERONE JR. & SALVATORE ZANELLI

Tyran Ferone Jr. is a dedicated cellist and the principal cellist of the Hunter Symphony Orchestra. Born and raised in NYC, he began playing cello at 11 and has been committed to the craft ever since. A two-time winner of Hunter College’s Concerto Competition, he now pursues his Master’s in Music Performance while continuing to perform across the city.

Salvatore Zanelli is a pianist, composer, arranger, and the music director of Salon De Artistas. With roots in classical, jazz, and salsa, his work blends genres and mediums in creative, unexpected ways. Together, Tyran and Salvatore bring a dynamic musical collaboration to the Salon stage you won’t want to miss.

Alexandra Laliberté is a writer, actress, and producer based in New York City. She founded Salon De Artistas as a self-funded initiative to support emerging voices in the performing arts. Since then, the platform has grown into a space for bold, collaborative work across disciplines.

In this edition, Alexandra will present a monologue she wrote, exploring themes of Norwegian identity as a New Yorker.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: MESGANA TEKLU

Mesgana Teklu, the child of East African immigrants, was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She’s an actress, singer, and songwriter now based in New York City, bringing soul, skill, and storytelling to every stage. In May 2023, she graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama and a minor in Political Science.

Mesgana trained in Method acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, studied film at Stonestreet Studios, and mastered Commedia dell’Arte in Florence, Italy. Her recent credits include Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Eponine in Les Misérables, Rosalia in West Side Story at 5th Avenue Theater, Fräulein Schneider in Cabaret, and The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods at The Flea Theater NYC.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: INGEBORG KOLSTAD

Straight from Norway and now rooted in NYC, Ingeborg Kolstad is a dynamic dancer and choreographer making bold waves in the contemporary dance scene. A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a BA in Dance, her work has graced both the stage and screen, blending power, precision, and raw emotional force.

She currently performs with Threads of Truth Inc. under Fatima Logan-Alston and has danced in works by choreographers like Angie Pittman and Thryn Saxon. As a choreographer, her pieces have been showcased at top venues like Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater, the Tank, and Emelin Theater. Ingeborg’s movement tells stories that connect across cultures, always rooted in deep human emotion.
