TONIGHT at MF&T! La Compañia de Artes de Mazatlan SIN ETIQUETAS presents: "MARINOS. El casi musical," a play by Lizandro Duarte and Cristhian Rodriguez.
It is a hilarious comedy that tells the story of six men living under the macho and homophobic regime of their boss Captain Torrijas. They are going to have a few days off, so they organized a trip to the Mazatlán International Carnival.
PACO Y EVERARDO are gay and are best friends, SAMMY, the metrosexual, JAVIER, the homophobe, TOMMY the secret son of the Captain and NETO the
heteroflexible one.
There are entanglements, lies, deceptions and a secret that will change everything. this play will have you rolling with laughter and guide you toward its powerful message: be yourself, love yourself as you are, come out of the closet, be happy, love is love, true love doesn't impose conditions.
Considered for many consecutive years as the funniest gay comedy of the year in Mexico City. More than 250 performances, a tour throughout Mexico, two plaque unveiling, more than 40 different actors over the years and 15 years of the experience make up the history of this production. A work that tells its story in an almost musical way. A story that recounts the lives of six men who, after their days off in Mazatlan will never be the same.
MARINOS. is a collective and independent production by the art company: SIN ETIQUETAS directed by writer, director, producer and choreographer Cristhian Rodriguez. Sebastian Sanchez, Oscar Osuna, Victor Vizcarra, Ramiro Martinez and Cristhian Rodriguez will bring the characters of our story to life.
