Guests thought they were walking into an engagement party…

the whole time, it was a wedding!

And every part of this surprise came together seamlessly.

From Hamilton-inspired cocktails to setting the tone, to adding that extra touch… every detail truly felt like them and what they were building together.

A dinner experience that honored their roots and told a story of where they come from, with travel-inspired elements woven throughout.

And one of my favorite details…
the custom family puzzle marking the official start of their life as a party of five.

It was classy.
Intentional.
And extra special to plan and witness.

This week marks six years of The Honey B Experience.

And when I pause to reflect,
the thing I’m most grateful for is THE PEOPLE.

When I started,
I knew I loved weddings and celebrations.
What I didn’t fully understand yet
was the weight of the trust people would place in me.

Over the years, I’ve been welcomed into rooms
full of love, family, legacy, and once-in-a-lifetime moments.
And I’ve had the privilege of helping shape the experiences that hold them.

That’s not something I take lightly.

I am incredibly grateful for my couples and their families, the founders and organizations, the collaborators, and the incredible vendor partners I’ve had the pleasure of building alongside.

And above all, I thank God for the grace, the guidance, and the purpose that continues to lead me forward.

Matt & Tyler were referred to me by their sister-in-law — who also happens to be one of my closest friends, so this one was extra special from the start.

As we moved through planning (and a few design pivots 😅), trust was built along the way. They allowed me and my team to lead, and that’s when everything truly came together.

With a full room flip and plenty of moving pieces behind the scenes, hearing that their day felt seamless is the greatest reward for months of thoughtful preparation.

I am grateful for couples who value structure and communication, but also stay open, collaborate, and trust the process as it unfolds.

Thank you to The Browns for trusting us with such an important season of your lives. Wishing you both a beautiful and successful marriage ahead.

My designs are never mine alone.
They are strengthened by partners who are just as invested in the client experience as I am.

I am intentional about who I work with.
Collaborators who care deeply about their craft, take ownership of their role, and move with care.

On this day, that looked like Krystal delivering the bridal bouquet herself. Her & her team showing up prepared for a complex room flip and executing it seamlessly.
And adding that staircase + piano moment because she saw the opportunity to elevate the space.

Months of conversations, refinements, and walkthroughs led us here. When everyone is aligned, the work speaks before we ever have to.

Two hours to build the ceremony.
One hour to transform the room for dinner & dancing.
