But seriously, would you bring your bestie to a destination wedding? Us, absolutely, but would 1000% make sure the wedding location, hotel, transportation, and everything in between are all pet friendly as well. Some tips to consider below:

- Check health guidelines with the airline and country you are traveling to. This should be on each countries website for travel, and on the airlines travel information. Most things you will need is a health certificate + vaccines. You don’t want to get stuck at the airport having to find last minute accommodations for your pup because he can’t come due to not having everything you need. 👨‍⚕️ 📑

- Cabin or Undercarriage? If your dog is under a certain weight, in a kennel they can properly stand up in or he is a service dog, they will allow him to travel above (make sure to check those travel guidelines!) 💜

- Call ahead of time to make sure your hotel is pet friendly. If bringing your bestie is a must, this could affect where you have a room block 🏖️

- Airport transportation is super easy! Almost all transportation companies are pet friendly, but still make sure this is confirmed ahead of time, as they might have special pet friendly vehicles 🚐

For our Acre brides: splurge, just splurge on the ceremony and repurpose florals for reception. Use Acre’s chairs for ceremony + dinner and save money to add cute details like menu’s, a bar, fire dancers, or to even keep your new hubby happy and get the cigar roller
