Having been the successful bidder among tight competition to plan, coordinate, execute and implement an idea into a successful event is no mean achievement.

Happy to share that WAT Events Planning company was the co-planner and implementer of the 2023 National Energy Conference (NEC) organized by the Renewable Energy Industries Association of Malawi (REIAMA) in collaboration with Ministry of Energy (MoE), under the theme "Energy Diversification for Sustainable Development", held in Salima – Sunbird Livingstonia Beach from the 26th to 27th October 2023. Our scope of work involved the following:
1. Resource mobilization; outsourcing sponsors and partners for the conference.
2. Identifying third party service providers to carry out different specialist tasks.
3. Coordinate the event.
4. Marketing and multiple stakeholder engagement for the event.
5. Final ex*****on of the event idea on the ground to closure.

With the help of our amazing team in collaboration with the REIAMA secretariat and organizing committee, we are proud to say the 2023 NEC conference was huge success and well executed.

Planning and coordinating an event involving both international and national delegates requires a whole lot of skill and technique. From handling flights itinerary, accommodation, dietary issues to make sure you represent your client and your country very well needs a top- notch angle to not- miss even one single detail.

Grateful to have planned and coordinated a conference on Galvanizing Malawian Civil Society around shift the Power event organised by Tilitonse Foundation in partnership with UKAid, Comic Relief and Global Fund for Community Foundations, held at Ufulu Gardens, Lilongwe, Malawi, from 22nd to 23rd March, 2023.

As an events manager who founded an events mananging company (WATEvents) three years ago. I am happy to see how we (MALAWIANS) are embracing and adopting the need to hire event managers to plan, coordinate and implement different events across the chain, from corporate, to weddings, private and public events.
