The Malawi Womenโs National Cricket Team concluded their campaign at the 2025 Kwibuka T20 Cup with a commendable display of determination and fighting spirit in their final match against Zimbabwe.
After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, the team put up a disciplined performance, limiting Zimbabwe to 125/7 in 20 overs. Despite a valiant chase, Malawi closed their innings at 95/9, falling short by 30 runs but showcasing unwavering commitment until the very end.
Competing in eight matches throughout the tournament, the team has grown in confidence, experience, and character. While victories may have been elusive, the Malawian side proved their resilience on the international stage and took each opportunity as a stepping stone for growth.
