Seafarers' Stories: A Tribute for Seafarer's Day - Part 2

Such an honour to have produced this witness video for the Seafarer's Welfare Fund — giving voice to the stories of our seafarers.

It was screened on Seafarer's Day, 25th June, with their families, friends, old colleagues, Port representatives, and members of the Government and ministries all there to watch.

Voici la vidéo réalisée par moi, à l’occasion des 15 ans du Cercle Généalogique de Maurice et Rodrigues (CGMR), où j’ai eu le plaisir de présenter l’histoire de l’un de mes ancêtres : Nicolas Huet dit “le Fanfaron”.
C’est d’ailleurs de lui que vient le nom du lieu bien connu Trou Fanfaron !

Lors de cet événement, Guilhem Florigny a partagé le parcours de sa famille à travers leurs déplacements, et Bernard Maurice nous a fait voyager dans une histoire collective de l’île Maurice à travers la sienne.

Merci à tous pour votre soutien, votre présence et cette belle aventure humaine qui continue de faire vivre notre histoire.
