Niki Black is an Iranian-American singer-songwriter known for her soulful voice and genre-blending artistry. Niki began playing piano at the age of four and started writing her own songs at 15, drawing inspiration from artists like Nina Simone and Jeff Buckley .

In 2021, Niki gained wider recognition as a semi-finalist on the French edition of The Voice, where she impressed audiences with powerful renditions of songs by Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga . Following her success on the show, she released her debut EP, The Dream Session, in December 2022.
