Is looking for an experienced Cafeteria manager to manage all aspects of establishment.
This position will report directly to the Director’s.
Requirements:
Experience in a similar post will be considered as an asset
Excellent people, communication, and supervisory skills
Good command of emails communication and Microsoft office
Fluent in English and Italian is a must. Any other language will be considered as an asset preferably Maltese
Must have very high standards for attention to detail and commitment to deliver excellent customer service
Passion and drive to succeed
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
ITS (Institute of Tourism Studies)graduated in Management
Food handling certificate
Candidate must be in Malta and in possession of Maltese ID
Job Duties:
Co-ordinate the entire cafeteria operation, including front of house and back of house
Meet and greet customers
Analyse and plan sales levels and profitability by creating menu specials, up selling and special events
Handling administration and paperwork
Plan and coordinate menus together with the chef.
Come up with the cafeteria SOP’s
Planning staff training regarding customer service, up selling and SOPs
Recruit, manage and motivate staff
Respond to customer queries and complaints
Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
Overseeing stock levels
Meet new suppliers to discuss new products in the market
