🍂 A little glimpse of what's happening behind the scenes at ir-Razzett tal-Qasam!

We've been busy preparing our autumn crafts, experimenting with colours, leaves and natural materials for our upcoming Discovering the Wonders of Autumn at the Farm activities.

These are just a few of the things we're getting ready for the children.

We can't wait to see their own creations!

There's one more autumn adventure waiting for the children! 🫒

Our final day at ir-Razzett tal-Qasam takes children into the wonderful world of olive trees, where they'll explore a real olive grove, discover its precious liquid gold and enjoy a taste of Maltese tradition with ħobż biż-żejt.

And the adventure doesn't end there!

Sometimes we plant a tree without knowing who will one day sit beneath its shade.

Many years ago, a farmer planted a carob tree beside ir-Razzett tal-Qasam to provide shade for his family and the generations that would follow.

He could never have imagined all the children who would one day play beneath its branches, the birds that would make their homes in its hollows, or the bees that would visit its flowers year after year.

This autumn, this beautiful old tree will help us tell a very special story.

On the first day of Discovering the Wonders of Autumn at the Farm, children will hear The Two Carob Trees, a story inspired by the history of this very tree. Then we'll step beneath its branches to discover some of its secrets for ourselves — before continuing the morning with creativity, games, animals and plenty of outdoor fun.

🍂 Discovering the Wonders of Autumn at the Farm 🍂

BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN!

This mid-term break, we're inviting children to spend three special mornings at ir-Razzett tal-Qasam, enjoying autumn through stories, nature, animals, games, creativity and lots of outdoor fun!

Day 1 – The Secret of the Carob Tree

Discover the remarkable story behind our old carob tree, meet the bees that help our trees and plants, and become busy little pollinators ourselves. Children will also enjoy creating their own autumn-inspired crafts.

Day 2 – The Wonder of a Pumpkin

Follow the amazing journey from one tiny seed to a fully grown pumpkin. With hands-on discoveries, beautiful pumpkin crafts, nature walks and plenty of exciting games, there's lots to explore and enjoy!

Day 3 – The Olive Tree's Liquid Gold

Spend time amongst our olive trees, discover how olives become our precious olive oil and prepare traditional ħobż biż-żejt. We'll also do some planting and finish our autumn adventure with a special treasure hunt for the younger children and a mystery to solve for the older ones!

And, of course, there will be plenty of time with our farm animals and for outdoor games and play.

Three days designed for children to explore, create, move, play and enjoy being close to nature.

💶 €20 for one day | €18 per day when booking 2 or 3 days

And just like that, 10 weeks of Summer Club have come to an end.

During our last week, we spent some time talking with the children about their favourite memories from this summer. And what a summer it has been!

So many things learned, so many beautiful moments shared, so many crafts created and games played. New friendships were formed, little challenges were overcome, and there was so much laughter and fun along the way.

To keep a little memory of Summer Club 2026, the children made their own fingerprint creations to place inside a keychain – a small keepsake to remind them of the summer we shared together.

For 10 weeks, the farm was filled with their voices, their laughter, their curiosity and their excitement. Even our farm animals became very used to all those extra little snacks and visits – I think they are going to miss the children too!

And we will certainly miss them.

Thank you to all our little ones for another summer full of memories. Watching you learn, create, play, make friends and simply enjoy being children has made these 10 weeks very special.
