We are a cosy, chilled out music bar a minutes’ walk from the main Strand in Gzira, open every night of the week. We also have 3 of the best free live music nights on the island with Open Mic held every Tuesday & Saturday from 8pm & a Friday night guest musician/band from 9pm. Open Mic we invite all musicians from across the island to come along a play covers of their own songs. Each music night i

s different, with a variation of genres and styles coming together to make for an amazing night of pure talent and quality entertainment. Singers, guitarists, ukuleleists, acoustic bassists, cajon and bongo players (and even sometimes spoon players!) all turn up to show what they’ve got! We provide the backline PA, 2 microphones, a monitor and an electro-acoustic guitar so hey, why not join in yourself? If you aren’t particularly a musician but love to sing we have classic Karaoke every Monday and Thursday starting from 8pm! Also we host a monthly Stand Up Comedy & Quiz nights (ask at the bar or keep checking on this page for updates). Friday nights we have local musicians performing electro-acoustic sets from 9pm - if you'd like to play, send ua a message or drop in & say hi! It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on this page!

I just wanted to share a tip about a cool bar in Torrevieja, Spain.

My friend Nenne runs a bar with open mic nights, karaoke, live gigs, quizzes, and other events. The bar has an electric piano, guitar, and microphones—and soon they'll have a drum kit and a bass too.

So, if you’re heading to Torrevieja, please visit her bar! It’s a great spot, and Nenne herself is a wonderful and amiable person.

Unfortunately we have some sad news. Tonight will be the last night of Casey's Bar. We know this is a bit of a shock but unfortunately we have to close our doors for the last time after tonight.
