For Anastasia & Peter 🌼

One of the most rewarding parts of this project was the creative freedom entrusted to us by the couple, allowing us to develop a design that reflected both of their preferences while responding to each setting in a considered way.

The brief was to bring together Peter’s appreciation for gardens with Anastasia’s preference for a more contemporary style.

For the church entrance, we used clusters of baskets filled with Mediterranean flowers, shrubs and foliage, creating a natural and structured arrival experience.
At Palazzo Parisio, the reception design responded to the setting of the jasmine-covered gardens through contemporary floral arrangements in orange and purple tones, balanced with touches of yellow and pink.
A project built on contrast, combining garden-inspired elements with a more modern floral approach throughout the celebration.

Designed using carefully selected dried florals and preserved textures that can be cherished long after the day itself.

There’s something so meaningful about wearable florals: a piece created uniquely for the person wearing it, becoming part of the memories, photographs, and emotions of the occasion 🤍

And finally, how it all came together. 🥰

For Steph & Frank’s reception, the floral direction centred on an ethereal tablescape set across a caterpillar table arrangement, contrasted against the symmetry and curved lines of the Art Nouveau setting at .corinthia . The intention was to allow natural, flowing spring flowers to sit in conversation with the structure of the space; softening the architecture without competing with it.

Rather than focusing on circular centrepieces, the design took a different approach. Height and verticality shaped the tablescape, with antique brass holders carrying tall whimsical florals in place of candles, drawing the eye through the length of the tables and creating rhythm across the setting.

Mismatched coloured glass vases formed part of the tablescape, adding variation in tone and texture while also serving as souvenirs for guests…pieces designed to continue beyond the evening itself.

In many ways, this reception reflects what feels most characteristic of The Blooming Bunch. A preference for movement over structure, seasonality over convention, and designs that feel considered without being overly formal. Flowers that work with a setting, rather than simply filling it.

For this part of the wedding, the relationship between The Blooming Bunch and came into full view; a longstanding creative partnership built on trust, attention to detail, and a shared understanding of how a space comes together.

A special mention to the brilliant Charlene, the mind behind The Setup, whose considered approach helped bring Steph’s vision for the reception into focus. While Steph’s brother-in-law designed the invitation, menu and seating plan, Charlene translated these details into the setting itself with printing and installing the seating plan against ivory drapery, finished with deep red bows that tied into the wider palette of the day.

Each table was carefully assembled through Charlene’s layered approach: brushed gold accessories, candles and vessels arranged with precision to create a setting that felt cohesive and atmospheric. 🕯️

In close consultation with Steph, apple green drapery was chosen for the bistro tables and the couple’s table; a deliberate use of colour that sat naturally alongside the florals and helped shape the setting for the evening.

A collaboration built on shared ideas, careful planning, and people we are always grateful to work alongside. 🥰

Behind the scenes of Steph & Frank’s dinner reception.

Before the tables were dressed and the candles lit, there was the work of bringing a shared vision into place; one shaped through close collaboration, long hours, and many hands. 🤝

For this part of the wedding, Steph’s vision centred on an ethereal tablescape: layered, immersive, and quietly atmospheric.

Bringing it to life was made all the more seamless through our longstanding working relationship with a collaboration built on trust, shared standards, and an instinctive understanding of how details come together. 🙏

For the wedding Mass of Steph & Frank, the floral direction centred on contrast.

Set within the small but richly ornamented Church of the Annunciation of Our Lady at the Carmelite Priory in Mdina; a deeply Baroque interior layered with detail, Steph chose to take a quieter approach. The floral design focused on a restrained, near-monotone palette, softened with notes of apricot, yellow and lilac to bring a sense of calm and clarity to the space rather than compete with it.

Two large urn arrangements framed the altar, creating a strong sense of presence while remaining composed and grounding within the grandeur of the church.
The altar itself was dressed with spring hyacinth bulbs, pansies, heuchera and trailing ivy; a planting-led approach that felt intimate, atmospheric and quietly devotional, creating a space that felt both deeply personal and reverent.

At the church doors, the intention was for the flowers to feel as though they had naturally arrived there. Laurel, ivy and blossom branches formed a looser, more naturalistic continuation, less an installation and more an extension of the landscape, gently softening the threshold between Mdina’s stone streets and the ceremony within.

A continuation of Steph & Frank’s wedding flowers, with more to come throughout the week.
