LIN
Introducing a pioneering techno artist LIN, a groundbreaking artist who expertly blends classic techno elements with a distinctive modern style. Thriving in the underground scene, LIN has been challenging norms and harnessing the raw energy of techno for years. With fresh beats and innovative soundscapes, his performances are essential for techno enthusiasts.
LIN began his electronic music journey in 2008, gaining recognition as a resident at Koh Phangan’s Full Moon Party. He has performed at major Thai festivals and internationally, sharing stages with icons like Jay Lumen and Nakadia.
After returning to Yangon in 2018, LIN joined LEVEL 2, the city’s first underground club, collaborating with its owner to educate and grow Myanmar’s house and techno culture. In 2023, he launched Groove Culture with his team, a platform for authentic house/techno events. Managing artists and serving as the music director for techno events at Future Club, LIN continues to shape Yangon’s underground scene while mentoring emerging talent.

Groove Culture : Urban-Sky Edition 🌃

Join us at The Tip Bar as we rise above the city for a special collaboration between Groove Culture and The Tip. ✨

Expect a wide spectrum of sounds from driving percussion and fast-paced trance to Deep grooves and melodic journeys curated by our Groove Culture residents and special guest DJs. 🎶

Special Guest DJs, Saola and Moro started curating a dance & electronic music night in Vientiane, Laos. They wanted a diverse platform for bringing new sounds to the city’s dance floors and audiophiles. Anchored at their home base, a local gem known as Hard Bye, their shows united a gang of international DJs, sparking events at nearly every hotel, rooftop, bar, jungle, and boat, along with a batch of unexpected pop-ups across the country. Their style is an eclectic blend of Melodic house, Tropical, Amapiano, Minimal, Afro, Latin, and global rhythms. Beyond this, Saola and Moro helped create signature events, including the monthly Mekong boat parties and the Suai series, both of which have welcomed renowned international DJs, turning Vientiane into a tiny growing hub of dance music culture.
