Homeschooling has been the RAK Littles whole upbringing. Their older sister was 9 when she began and was 10 when Kathlynn was born. Moving here to RAK Ranch when she was 15 led to her high school training being led by horse care. Her younger sisters have followed her and learned with her and have raised rabbits and ducks starting in 2019 & 2020 first as pets. Homestead practices are starting to become a normal around here along with entrepreneurship as well.

We work in partnership with RAK Outreach & Missions on the daily on many projects. We look forward to meeting new people all the time.

With the upgrades to the little building on the property, its easier to setup regular activities on a more regular basis 🥰.

Kiera is getting in the habit of helping with the processing of rabbits and ducks and is grinding parts for our ranch pups food supplement.

We are currently rebuilding our duck flock and anticipate hosting farm-to-freezer workshops by October. These workshops will accommodate larger groups and multiple participants, offered in both one-on-one and class settings. The estimated cost is $25 per participant, with a discounted rate of $20 for those leaving to the RAK Ranch freezer. In partnership with RAK Outreach & Missions, our goal is to accumulate food resources for distribution to others. Although our duck livestock is presently limited, we do have a few males available for individualized sessions.

For $25 a rabbit we offer a live rabbit from our colony to your freezer experience. You can help as little or as much as you can.

Maximum of 2 at a time for now as we get this started. This is a great experience for homeschool students and anyone else interested in the processing and trying a less "normal" meat source.

The experience also gains access to the inside journey to here. We were city people a decade ago. We have been slow to the farming life. We have gone through tremendous emotional work to get here, we offer a sensitivity and understanding of how emotionally how hard it all can be.

Send a message or text to 352-502-7158 and let's schedule a 2 hour time slot or less together.

A few broody ladies. Letting them do their thing and let our counter and incubator rest. The poor incubator babies don't know what to do. One is pushing them to the next and the one in the nest is saying go away🤣

Love it when the downed trees go on to have new life.

"I could never" they are too cute and fluffy.

Not going to lie, it has been an emotional journey to get to here with the rabbits. They are cute and fun to watch and we have gotten attached. But honestly, we did get attached to the pigs and turkeys as well and it was hard.

Farming is hard. Way harder than homeschooling itself, this lifeschooling life of farming has built up something that even walked through is so hard to explain. I can't even walk through a grocery store anymore without feeling things when I am in the meat department.

The ducks and the rabbits started off as pets when we were "failing" as farmers. We love them like pets, but we also farm them now. It was a gradual transition. Definitely not smooth, but slow. Expensive, but worth it to us.

We almost gave up trying to farm. But after a decade we are moving back into it. Still slowly, but steadily now. We have reached a point of opening up to others to come in and meet us where we are now before the farming aspect grows like we intend.

We have time now to share the experience on personal levels with other newcomers to the life and those who can "not imagine" are welcomed to come in person.

Hope to meet you soon.

We offer an experience one on one or as a class on our process and our journey to here. $25 per rabbit from our farm to your freezer. Only 1 or 2 right now per visit.

The Serenity House here on the ranch is a 1 bed and 1 bath space on a 15 acre active family homestead.

Whether you are looking for a space for a few hours to have quiet and a rest or space for both rest and activities, there are options here.

We do not rent out or loan out this space for long terms at this time. It is a space used on the daily in multiple ways.

We aim to be both affordable and accommodating. We are working on standard pricing of things we can offer still, but feel free to reach out and inquire with us if we can offer what you are searching for with a gathering or event or simply a time out time.

Keep watch on our page for Open RAK Ranch days and events as well. Those are great days and times for newcomers and time to put eyes on this space and other spaces and things happening around here.

We have gone through tremendous emotional work to get here, we offer a sensitivity and understanding that those who were raised up in the farming life don't quite have to help newcomers to the life.
