Disco was not merely a genre of music; it was the first movement that was apolitical, non-polemical, non-homophobic, and anti-racist, while also being feminist, LGBTQ+, and a civil rights movement.
We could learn a great deal from that movement again today, since it was not about polarization back then, but rather about liberation, safe spaces, and the pure joy of living.
Today‘s generations and club scenes sometimes forget where and why everything started.
