--BAILA NIGHT POSTPONED TO 4TH JUNE 2017--
The Baila Night 2017 scheduled to be held on Sunday 28th May 2017 at Ranmal Ramdia Holiday Resort Moratuwa has been postponed for 4th June 2017 in view of the inclement weather and the news of a possible flooding in and around Bolgoda lake in Moratuwa -after a leak in the anicut had been detected by the residents in the Bolgoda Lake. Residents in some areas had been asked to evacuate the risk areas and this had an impact on the venue Ranmal Ramadia Holiday Resort being along the Bolgoda. With rain subsiding the event will resume with added vigor and 7 Tunes Entertainment, the organizers of the event have now decided to allocate part of the proceeds for those who are affected by the floods.
The Baila Night 2017 is a musical show that is targeted at music lovers with a passion for Baila music from Moratuwa. This was niche musical event at which Desmond De Silva, Sunil Perera of Gypsies, Mariazelle Goonatillke and Billy Fernando with 2Forty2 Band will be slated to perform at this venue. The loyal fans of the musicians are expected to throng the venue on 04th June 2017 to swing and twist for the rhythms of Moratuwa.
