Established in the year 2008 UTO EduConsult Pvt Ltd (UTO) has primarily focussed on corporate training. It has also hosted several landmark events and has been recognised as industry incumbents as a key player in the MICE industry in Sri Lanka. Its clients encompass a wide section of industries including FMCG, Banking & Finance, Travel & Tourism, Education et al. Initially set up to conduct seminars and workshops for a very select market, the Company has since expanded its operations to include the conducting of conferences, not just in Sri Lanka but also overseas. It hosts several events on an annual basis, which include the capital market conference (CAPM) to be held for the 8th consecutive year, The RAISE (Reconciliation, Alleviation, Inspiration, Social Responsibility, Engagement) Summit for the 4th consecutive year, SLIBFI Conference to be held for the 12th consecutive year, The Maldivian IBF industry Conference held for the 6th consecutive year as well as IFFSA an event that encompasses the entire South Asian region to beheld for the 5th consecutive year. Seminars conducted include specialised areas such as Mergers and Acquisition with resource personnel flown in from Australia. Events have also witnessed guest speakers from countries as diverse as south Africa, the United Kingdom, USA, the Gulf nations, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore and Mauritius. This is in addition to reputed speakers from Sri Lanka, who have all contributed in enhancing UTO’s reputation as a responsible service provider of quality events.
